This year’s Flower Festival at St Nicholas’ Church  in Dersingham had a theme of “Trips, Travels and Adventures”.  The Flower Festival extended
across several days giving many visitors time to revisit the Festival should they so wish and I am sure some of them did indeed go back.  Unfortunately, I only got to see the Flower Festival in its last hours otherwise I would certainly have revisited to see the wonderful displays.  The imagination and creative skill applied was rewarded hands down with a fantastic array of colour filling the church.

St Nicholas’ Church, Dersingham, was open 10am-6pm for visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenes.  Throughout the Festival short prayer sessions and church services were held and Festival Songs of Praise with the Snettisham Salvation Army Band concluded the festivities.  Refreshments and craft stalls where available in the Church Hall throughout the Festival.  All funds raised by the Flower Festival went to support the church.

“Trips, Travels and Adventures” was the theme and it obviously inspired a great many ideas based on the results on display.  Unfortunately we are unable to show a photo of every single display, although the vast majority are included.  This is a reflection on my photographic results!!
